Founded in 1996 by Erio Meili, the association was called São Paulo Bluegrass Music Association, with the mission of promoting acoustic music and facilitating the integration of bluegrass music with national musical segments, like the Brazilian choro, valuing the musician artist and honoring traditions. Since 1996 we have already brought artists such as Nashville Bluegrass Band, we have participated in international bluegrass conventions in addition to presentations, demonstration of instruments in Expomusic stands, workshops, among other activities that allow for a gratifying cultural recognition.
